 Defective product, does not honor warranty. August 30, 2010

I received a defective product from this terrible seller. They will not return e-mails and do not honor their claimed 1 year warranty. My only advise is to not order any of the junk products this seller has to offer. The fact that I cannot complain to Amazon about the warranty that the seller claimed but does not validate makes me loose faith in Amazon as a retailer.

Mine was defective. Wouldn't charge all the way and after a second try started messing with the power supply to the whole computer when it was plugged in, which could easily do a lot of damage to my precious laptop. Returning for a full refund. Props to Amazon customer service though. Return is easy and prime shipping got it to me fast.

I was hestitant that this would work from other review, but was much cheaper than the Dell's, so risk reward was worth it. Had it for 2 weeks, so far it works well. I was fearful of internal clock problem with CMOS or whatever a couple of others had problems with, but I haven't seen anything wrong yet.

It is too early to say how long the battery will last, but it seems to last about as many hours as the original battery. However, I had to push to actually make it fit.

Bought this Battery for my Dell XPS M1330 like month and half back. I was a little skeptical initially on the Life the Battery may provide with. The First Time I Charged it, Full Charge, took quiet some time, around 4 hrs (may be usual for a 9 Cell). After which it showed 100% but only for 1 hr some thing, but after few mins, it started showing its full length., 4.5 hr.
So far so good, over a month now. Stable, no hiccups, charges full, no heating., gives me 3.5 - 4.5 hrs depending on what I am doing, but for 40 bucks, thats a awesome deal. I mean., a branded battery from Dell ., was costing me 160 Bucks or more, I was circumspect initially, but so far, its been nice. Hope this would continue. I would a suggest Buy.
I would have rated it 5*, only that I would want to see its performance over next 6 months and rate it 5 then.
