 Bad product - you'd be nuts to buy March 9, 2010
I purchased two of these dogs for my two dell inspiron laptops. Both failed. One was returned but the other was non-returnable since it failed after six weeks of use. Be smart; buy from a better company.

Just adding my 3 cents. Battery fully charged. Computer display goes dead as soon as computer unplugged. What a rip off.

Shipment was very fast. Battery was defective, so I contacted the seller and an RMA was quickly provided. Returned the battery on Monday and by Friday of the same week my replacement battery was in my hands.
Battery works well, although I had hoped for a longer run time. I get about 90 minutes before the computer says to recharge (I have it set to alert me at 20% remaining). This is really not a complaint since the price was approximately 1/3 of the cost of a comparable Dell battery. Since I use my laptop primarily for business presentations, I rarely need to use it for more than an hour at a time.
If you want longer run times, then step up to the plate and pay the higher cost for a Dell battery, otherwise...this battery is a very good buy from a seller with very good customer service.
