 Fried my computer! February 15, 2010
The first time I used this power cord it fried my computer. Now I can't even turn the computer on. I wish I had just spent the extra money to get a cord from dell. The 30 bucks I saved doesn't seem worth it now that my computer is ruined.
Broken February 5, 2010
Ill keep it short and simple. The male end of the plug tore off. No abnormal use, just wrapping the cord up like normal. I had it only 2 months.
 Works on the Dell Inspiron 6000 January 25, 2010
After 4 years of ownership, my dell's power cord stopped working. Seeing that Dell no longer makes the exact cord that came with this computer and their replacement cord was well over $50.00 I decided to look at Amazon.com to see my other options. I came across the HQRP 65 W Heavy Duty AC Adapter and read most of the reviews, which revealed that it didn't work with many dell laptops; however, the reviewers who specified that they too owned an Inspiron 6000 seemed please with its performance.
I have been using this device for over a month and haven't had any problems with it other than it doesn't charge my battery other than the first time I used the power cord and the charge light blinks orange 4xs and green 1x which means that the power adapter isn't charging the battery. After taking the battery out, the orange blinking has ceased. It sucks I can no longer use my laptop's mobility; although, $35 dollars to replace a power cord and have a usable computer is much cheaper than purchasing a new computer.
Terrible Quality December 28, 2009
This AC adapter is so cheaply made, it is not worth buying. It worked to power my laptop for one use only. The second time I tried it, I got nothing, even the LED on the adapter did not come on. I noticed a rattle as soon as I took it out of the box it was shipped in, either a piece had come lose in transit, or a fuse was already broken. Not worth buying.

please dont buy this product it is a waste of your money . I only use it for 2 days and it broke
