When I first bought my MSI it came with a 3 cell battery and it was supposed to last for 3 hours, but it never did. This new battery has proven to be a very useful tool when you want to stay working for a long period of time. I charged it for 2 hours the fist use and the battery meter says it'll last 8 hours 45 minutes. In fact it lasted at least 7 and a half hours which is in terms of this laptop a very long time.
A littlebit big, compared to my MSI its 2 times thicker than my netbook but its worth it.
Its not as heavy as I thought it would be but now its hard to find a sleev that fits, I ended up buying a neoprene sleeve that can stretch a bit.

 Bad battery? July 20, 2010
Received battery in 3 days. Plugged into MSI L1350 netbook, which simply flashed amber ("defective battery - replace") even after 12 hours on charger. Battery DOA or just not compatible? Quality control? I'll reorder this one and another brand and see what happens...
 bad battery May 24, 2010
At about 30 minutes my laptop shuts down with this battery. Plugged into the wall laptop its works fine. With old battery doesn't do it.

after about a half hour to an hour when using this battery, the computer just shuts down. Not sure why. This does not happen with the new 6 cell I purchased.
9-cell is superb April 18, 2010
This battery worked flawlessly upon installation. I get 9 or greater hours on a single charge. The battery is larger than the standard battery but it raises the computer up to a great height for typing!
